Shirtless violinist Matthew Olshefski has taken on Troye 
Sivan’s bottoming anthem Bloom with help from his friends pianist Johnny Walsh and dancer Derek Loerzel.

I believe Troye’s career is beginning to sky-rocket and as a proud member of the LGBTQ community I think he is doing many wonderful things! His hit song “Bloom” is about a topic that is seldom discussed in pop songs…and, sadly, it’s something I can’t even write in this description without our video getting flagged! LGBTQ videos are routinely flagged by troll groups who seek anything containing specific words frequently used in our community (how crazy is that?!) Australian singer/songwriter Troye Sivan has been winking and insisting the song is about flowers, let’s be real — this is a straight up ode to being on the receiving end of anal sex for the first time. “Lyrically I think it’s the most subversively queer song on the album”, says Troye.” That’s kind of what makes me like it so much — it’s almost like a little inside joke. Apart from the fact that ‘Bloom’ is a gem of a track, it’s quite wonderful to think a song about bottoming is topping the charts on itunes.
He has announced he will be kicking off a North American tour starting this fall to support his upcoming album, Bloom. Sivan’s sophomore album, Bloom drops August 31st, following up his 2015 debut, Blue Neighbourhood. Here is his version of Bloom with lyrics:
